If you are an AHIMA member, you may have read and heard, discussions regarding the 2019 AHIMA ballot – specifically the positions of AHIMA president and Speaker of the House, naming one choice on the voting ballot. As a result, AHIMA has heard the members’ discontent by allowing the voters to write in names for these positions.
Your Board of Directors of HIMAH encourage you to vote, despite the controversy surrounding this year’s ballot. If you do not vote, your vote will not count at all. If you disagree with the handling of the ballot and want other candidates named for the position of president, vote and write in your choice. Let your voice be heard.
Vote and let AHIMA know where you stand, by choosing the candidate of YOUR choice. Voting is how we shape HIMAH’s future.
